Visa Applications

The visa application procedure is subject to changes in the UAE. For the most up-to-date information it is best to contact the UAE Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence. Most hotels in Dubai are glad to assist in obtaining a visit visa. Normal procedure is as follows:

To enter the United Arab Emirates a passport is required which must be valid for at least 6 months after arrival and should not hold or have an Israeli visa.

Nationals of the following Countries do not require a visa to enter the UAE:

• A: Andorra, Australia, Austria
• B - C: Belgium, Brunei, Canada
• D - F: Denmark, Finland, France
• G - H: Germany, Greece, Hong Kong
• I: Iceland, Ireland, Italy
• J - L: Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg
• M - P: Malaysia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal
• S: San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
• U - V: United Kingdom, USA, Vatican

Should your country not be listed above please check with your nearest UAE Embassy/Consulate for any updates.

The following nationalities must have an original passport photo for their visa application: Libya, Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria. Visa applications for the following nationalities are critical: Iraq, Dominican Republic, Kenya, Nigeria and Somalia.
